Resource Guide

Our 2022 Team Captain Resource Guide is here! If you've started a team or are gearing up to start a team, our Team Captain Resource Guide is a team's best friend! Full of tips and information, the Guide will get you on your way for the JCN5K.

What Do JCN5K Teams Do?

Simply put, teams get together and fundraise to help Baltimore families! Team captains and team members work together to inspire friends and families to support the mission by joining the team and by raising money to help make it possible for Jewish Caring Network to provide more services and help more Baltimore families. Because this is Jewish Caring Network’s annual fundraiser, we encourage team captains to set higher goals than in the past—and we are confident that the excitement and meaning surrounding the JCN5K will play a major role in teams meeting, or exceeding, their goals.

Team Captain Roles

First and foremost, team captains emphasize the vital role of every member to collect donations and fundraise. We also encourage team captains to help us educate their team members on all that is new and wonderful about the JCN5K, and motivate as many people as possible to register and join their teams.

Fundraising Recognition

We are excited to inspire you and your team members with our recognition program for fundraising achievements. Check out our new prize tiers by clicking here. This will include race day trophies for team captains and teams, based on fundraising performance.
